Sadie's Spread Sunshine Gift to me!

I got some kind of home-making bug the last couple of weeks, I think I might have caught it from Sadie's blog when I accepted the Spreading Sunshine Challenge. Unfortunately I have only had one person sign up for my Spread the Sunshine Challenge.....



SEWING 101
Following is my first attempt at sewing any clothes for my kids. I thought this pattern looked so cute and simple. It was pretty easy to sew however I do have to admit that my Mom laid and cut out the pattern... Note the buttons are yet to be done... This barley fits through the chest so I will have to make a bigger one for the summer. I think I will add some embellishments next time either on the pockets or in the middle of the chest. The pattern also has bloomers so I will try that next time as well..... Happy Sewing!

LET THE SUNSHINE
Below is the Wipes Holder I decorated as my Spread the Sunshine gift. I thought it turned out really cute. We will have to see how durable it is, it's held together with hot glue.... sorry you have to be the Guinea pig Sadie. Yes you to could get a beautiful decorated wipes holder or some other creation of mine if you accept the Spread the Sunshine challenge. Does it sound like I am trying to bribe you? Good!

And the cute pink flower clip that will looks so cute in Sophie's Hair. Thanks Sadie, so far I have enjoyed the challenge who knew it would be so hard to get others to play along.
