HERE YOU GO!

I can not believe how long its been since my last post. I was having problems with Blogger; so I just stopped checking on my blogs. Forgot about the blog I had. OOPS! SORRY.

Drew Started Kindergarten. He enjoys it and has started reading which is really great! So that leaves myself, Sophie, and Phoebe at home during the day. The girls are addicted to Netflix and love watching all their favorite shows when they are not fighting over toys.

Sophie loves being the boss and has a wonderful imagination. Phoebe has a big personality she is so funny to watch. Being so young the stuff she comes up with!

We recently got the kids pictures taken at FotoFly again this year. They always do such a great job and its a awesome value. Phoebe was much better at 6 mo. then she was this time at 18 mo.

It was fun this year the kids got so excited in helping with the Christmas Tree. I am usually not one for letting the kids help decorate. Because I want the tree to look just so and be balanced. When they asked to help, there was just no way I could say no. Not to mention that the tree gets re-decorated every day any way. So its OK if there are 6 of the same ornament on the same branch. (That's the little mantra I have to tell myself every time I look at the tree!)

CATCHING UP....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIE! She Turned 3 May 9!
We had my Mom, Dad & Bryan over for cake and Ice Cream. She slept with her presents that night. I had a great picture and I accidentally deleted it. AARGH! I can make myself so MAD! She had a cute Tinkerbell Cake that she loved, Balloons and she got this Tiara from her Grandma P. NOTE: This is her Beautiful Princess Pose. Cracks me up her little face.

BIRTHDAY CAKE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOEBE! 1st Birthday May 17!
We celebrated with my Parents and Brayn. She loved the Balloons and I made a little cupcake cake. She ate her cupcake like a pro. We love her so much and her personality. She is so mellow until she doesn't get what she wants then watch out she will give you the what for!

DREW'S PRESCHOOL GRADUATION
Drew loved going to Preschool! His class put on a great Graduation Program. He learned so much and to this day when we pass an American Flag and he notices, he will say the Pledge of Allegiance. It is adorable, he says he wants to remember it so he can tell his Kindergarten teacher all about it.

SOPHIE'S NEW HAIRCUT

ROB AND DREW'S TRIP TO NYC
Rob and Drew were able to go back to NYC for 5 days to visit with his Sister and Mom and some of his close friends. They had such a great time. Rob had a long list of Tourist Things he wanted to do, they weren't able to do all of them but they did get to check a few things off their list.

STAKE LAGOON DAY
I remember back in the day.... When I was in Grade School through High School. Stake Lagoon Day was IT! We looked forward to it, It was usually our main summer thing we did. But the whole Stake go involved. The Pavilion was full. The older people would hang out in the pavilion and visit and the kids would stop in during the day for drinks or treats or food. Last year we went and granted it was a little chilly but there we only 2 families in the Pavilion and ours was one of them. It was kind of sad. This year we went and camped, it was really nice we never did go to the Pavilion so I'm not sure what the Sad turnout was this year. My kids had fun and I'm sure the taller they get the more fun they will have. Drew went on the Rocko Rollo Planes with Rob this year. Drew is 5. I did not dare on those until I was at least 16....

DREW'S 5TH BIRTHDAY!
Drew really wanted a Friend party this year. I hesitated because honestly I did not want to put one on. I had never done it and I was afraid I would blow it... But he had so much fun with his friends, I'm so glad we did it. We decided (rather I decided) on a Space Themed Party. My Dad and Rob have this Rocket launcher they use in their Science Classes. I thought it would be fun for a bunch of 5yr olds to launch rockets themselves. I mixed in Alien Gold Robbers, Pin the Alien in the Spaceship and they each decorated their own Rocket Ships I think it turned out all right. I wish I had more photos, however I did this while Rob was away to school so... I didn't even have a chance to think about photos until the party was all but over. After it was over I wish I had a picture of each one of their faces when the pulled the cord to launch their rocket.

ENTRANCE TO PARTY:

THE BOYS (Sophie) and THEIR ROCKETS:

BIRTHDAY CAKE! or as I have BIRTHDYA
Anyway I think it turned out cute and it was a GREAT alternative to cake. The Aliens were fun to make as well. Its the first time I ever used the Food Coloring Color Mist. Just a word or warning put down more protection that you think you ll need.

BIRTHDAY LEGOS:
Thanks Grandma P for helping make Drews BDay Fantastic. As you can see he is in love with he set. He even said, I will never take this apart. In a 5 year olds mind never must mean 24 hours. Admittedly that is 23 hours longer than he has ever left any other set together.

SILLY PICS OF THE KIDS:
That they took of each other.

DREWS EAR:
I just noticed this yesterday and I was sick to my stomach. His poor little ear is swollen and so bruised that its black. I thought maybe Sophie had bit him but he said he fell while getting out of his bunk bed....

WHO'S THAT?

Well it happened. I was able to talk Drew into letting me flat iron his hair. Surprisingly it wasn't too difficult. I have been trying to talk Rob into letting me do his since we met. It not like its permanent, just add water ant the curls come back, but to no avail. So next best thing Drew! After I started Drew's hair all I had to do was tell him how much he looked like Luke Skywalker and he was happy to let me finish. I had no idea how long his hair was. Its always curled up on his head. He loved having it straight and would not let me get it wet for 2 days. It was fun and he is a good sport. Plus he is the only child I have right now that will sit still long enough to do things to his hair.

I'm just sorry I didn't get better pictures. I'm sure I will have the chance to do this again! Oh Rob thinks he looks like Billy Ray Cyrus, I agree.

Whats Been Going On!

Since Christmas Break these are some of the highlights I would like to share.

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU CROSS CURIOUS LITTLE KIDS AND EDIBLE INK MARKERS?

I'm not sure how it all went down. Seeing how I was at Bunco. When I got home they were both in the tub crying because Dad was going to give them Showers and they hate showers. I first saw Sophie and she looked so much like a sad clown. I could not stop laughing. I'm glad I got home when I did, Rob didn't even think to take pictures. Surprisingly it came off pretty well the stains only lasted a couple of days.

Grandma P knitted the girls Bolero's, They looks so cute in them too. Thanks Grandma P

CAN YOU GUESS WHO THIS IS?

Did you guess right? Drew is so good to sit and let me do his hair. (Yes I have done this more than once) I loved the little mushrooms his pig tails made.

Phoebe already has 7 teeth and has figured out sippy cups and straws. She seems to be growing up way to fast.

Phoebe's favorite Graham Crackers!

She is crawling everywhere, she puts her head down and zooms away. Which isn't always the best, she has run into countless things. But man is she speedy! She has figured out how to get over, around and through "gates" we set up for her to keep her in a certain area. I could not believe she went up and through our table. Very Impressive for a beginner. She is mastering cruising right now!

CHRISTMAS BREAK

CHRISTMAS EVE: The kids in their Christmas Jammie's

THE LOOK ON THE KIDS FACES WHEN THEY SAW THEIR PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE! (Not really, But they were surprised, half awake and excited all the same!)

THIS PRETTY MUCH SUMS UP CHRISTMAS MORNING. Drew had more Legos than he could play with, Sophie got Strawberry Shortcake and Tinker Bell. Drew said best day ever.

Phoebe opening her presents, I let her sleep in so she got to open hers all by herself. Well.... Sophie opened them.

CHRISTMAS DAY. Aunt Sarah with all the Girl Cousins at Grandma Hogans house. All the cousins love it when Aunt Sarah is in town to visit. She gets right in there and plays with them all. They Lover her so much and so Do we!
We went over to my Mom and Dads for Christmas Day. Its so nice to spend time with the whole family. We had a ton of food that we munched on all day, we sat around and talked and later played Nertz (sp?) which is like Group Solitaire on Meth, so much fun!

SANTA PHOEBE!

The Kids Playing Outside in the Snow with Aunt Sarah and Grandma. I think this is the only time they have been playing in the snow. They have not asked again. I'm told it was Soooooooo Cold.

Aunt Sarah with all the kids the Morning after she arrived!

Grandma P with Phoebe.

Grandma P and Aunt Sarah came in the Thursday before Christmas. Their plan was to stay until the Monday after Christmas. Mother Nature had another plan she decided to dump 2ft or more Snow on New York, Needless to say they had to extend their trip. Jet Blue could not get them a flight until New Years Eve. How lucky are they to be able to celebrate the New Year 30,000 feet in the air! The Kids loved having them around and were so sad to see them go. I'm not sure how Grandma P and Sarah fared I think they were really happy to get home to some peace and quite however thankful to spend the extra time with the kids.

How Many Hats are on your head Drew?

For some reason the kids love piling stuff on Phoebe; this time it was hangers. She is always so casual about it...

Sophie, you can never be too safe when eating Breakfast!
