Pig Tails!

Finally! With a little distraction, I was able to put Pig Tails in Sophie's hair. This is not as easy as one would think. Specially with Sophs hair as thin as it is... I was able to distract her with a handful of gummy bears for each pig tail. She did not even try to pull them out. Of course I put her down for a nap right after so lets see how they fair a sleepy time. She is not upset at the pig tails she wants to be the one taking the pictures.

So while I was taking pictures, Drew comes out of the bathroom and wants his taken too. Yes those are his pant behind him. This song comes to mind. Pants on the ground, pants on the ground lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground. Of course Drew is no fool.
Things around here seem to be moving in slow motion. I only want for spring to be here, and for the new baby to be here too.
Sophie has been talking up a storm she repeats everything you say, she is always surprising us with what she knows. I guess that might be a benefit of being a second child. Drew has really grown into his "big brother" role and is very bossy over her. Drew has a new fear of Owls. Partly due to the Barn Owl that spends time in a tree outside his window and is relentless with the Who's but also Rob did not help the situation when he told Drew that the Owl could see him through the kitchen window. Since that night Drew refuses to go the bathroom by himself at our house. That's been about a month ago. Rob is almost done with Debate that will be nice to have our weekends back with him before he goes off to school this Summer. I am gestating.... Which is about all I can handle these days. I'm sure my kids think I'm real boring and we don't get out much of course we have not been sick this winter season either... I will attribute that to my hermit-ness.

DISNEYLAND

I cant believe its almost been 2 months since we took our family trip to Disneyland. We left December 18 and Returned December 24. It was a family trip with my Mom and Dad and Brothers and their families, Robs Mom and Sister met us there as well. We did have a lot of fun. The weather was a little cold but the magic of Disney made it not matter so much. I must admit experiencing Disney with a 3 1/2 year old, an 18 mo. old and a baby on the way (5 mo. along) would not be my preferred experience. Personally I only had a few meltdowns I blame the pregnancy hormones... Drew loved Dumbo and the Monorail and Buzz Light Weird (As he calls it) Sophie seemed to like anything that did not spin. Since I could not ride "the fun rides" as I call them my favorite would have to be Buzz Light Weird too. Not sure about Robs favorite. Drew still cant stop talking about it. He always says "next time when we go to Disneyland". I'm thinking the next time we go will be when the youngest is at least 5. Here as some photos from our trip.

The Tea Cups.

This was waiting for the Christmas Parade. My family got their way early to save us all places. Front Row with curb side and Bench Seating!
