Visitors!

We had Rob's Mom and Sister here January 14-18. It was nice having company and the kids could not get enough of GrandMa and Aunt Sarah. Sadly these are the only photos I have of the whole trip.... Bad Mom. I will have to hit up Aunt Sarah for more! We had a second Christmas while they were here which was unexpected but only for me and the kids apparently Rob knew all about it..... It was very nice and they spoil they kids way too much. Drew scored a Camera which he loves, I will have to post some of his photos, some are not too bad. Aunt Sarah also bought Drew the "Awesome" transformer track suit he is wearing.

The night they left Drew was such a good sport until Rob got in the car to take them to the Airport then he realized they were leaving and not coming back. He cried or a long time, he wanted them back, "no home, no home" it was so sad. The next morning he came out to the living room and asked where they were, I had to remind him that they went back to New York. He missed his play buddies and the endless attention. Life's just not the same with out Grandma and Aunt Sarah around. We cant wait for their next visit!

I had to post these other two photos as well, Sophie is teething although you would not be able to tell by this photo. Her two front bottom teeth are coming in. One is partially up and the other just broke through last night. She has been a little more whiny than usual but no complaints here. The other is of Drew he has been interested in headphones lately and anything he can put on his ears....

"DREW BATMAN"

Drew got these "Awesome" (his words) Batman PJ's for Christmas. He manages to wear them a few times a week. Although I must admit they are used as a tool to get Drew to stay in bed and not wake up Sis, if he breaks those rules they are taken away and he has to wear a regular pair of PJ's. He got to experience that first hand last night, more on that later....
Right before bed Rob decides to get Drew's Batman mask out of the Halloween things so Drew can wear both together. Nothing like fanning the flames of Make Believe! Which as you can see in the above Photos Drew thought was fantastic! He raced around the house arms in the air "Drew Batman, Drew Batman"! I'm afraid that this might have caused Drew to break "the rules". From all the excitement he had a hard time settling down not to mention he wanted to wear the mask to bed.... He had a screaming fit that lasted 10 min. I have never seen him throw a fit like that. He really loves those PJ's.

BIG BROTHER IN TRAINING

It has been so fun to see Drew with Sophie. He has these moments of genuine love and care for her. He will go lay by her when she is fussing or hand her toys. Yesterday I caught him being good! I had to get the camera. He went and saddled up behind her giving her big hugs and speaking in some foreign language, they were both laughing... It was precious.

He does not terrorize her too badly... He loves pushing her over when she is seated, taking her toys or anything she is currently enjoying. I think he is playing too rough when he pushes on her belly or laying on top of her however she is laughing her guts out. He has never made her cry by doing that so I guess I should relax...
